1. Bookings can be confirmed by payment of a deposit of one-quarter of the total Rent, if the Booking is made more than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. If the booking is made less than 6 weeks before commencement of the holiday, the full Rent is due at the time of booking. An e-mail reminder will be sent when full payment is due. Non-payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and we may re-let the property. Credit will be given for any rents received as a result of re-letting, less expenses.
2. Higher Hollamoor Farm reserves the right to refuse to accept a booking and, in this event, all fees paid will be immediately refunded.
3. In the event of a Cancellation we will make every effort to re-let the property and will refund in full less expenses. Please ensure that you have taken out adequate insurance to cover your holiday should you need to cancel and the property remains un-let. We do not offer holiday insurance.
4. Under no circumstances may people or pets other than those specified at time of booking occupy the property.
5. We expect visitors to take good care of the property, contents and grounds. You will be responsible for the full cost of any damages or breakages and any exceptional cleaning. We expect you to leave the property and its contents in a clean and tidy condition prior to vacating and to not cause any annoyance or become a nuisance to ourselves, neighbours and other guests.
6. Dogs should be kept under strict control at all times, not allowed in bedrooms or on furnishings, nor left unattended in the cottage (unless agreed with us). You will be liable for any damage caused by them.
7. The cottage is available for a minimum of one week during the high season. The cottage will be ready at 3.00pm on the first day of your holiday. To enable us to prepare for our next guests please vacate by 10.00am on the day of departure.
8. If, for any reason beyond our control, the property is not available on the date booked, all rent and charges paid in advance will be refunded in full.
9. There may be times when we will need access to the property during your stay for essential maintenance.
10. We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. Whilst every effort is made to ensure our cottage is safe you remain responsible for you and your family's safety whilst on holiday. The cottage is not suitable for persons who have difficulty with steps.
